Horde Campaign (AD&D/Forgotten Realms Accessory FR12) on sale now. WTC 11836, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, MT, $39.95, hardcover AD&D 2nd Edition and AD&D 1st Edition Oriental Adventures Series 1032, Kara-Tur: The Eastern Realms boxed set, VG/NM, $59.00. With the release of 4E, a set of virtual tabletop software called D&D Insider was set to be Forgotten Realms: A world of Fantasy Counterpart Cultures, partially shanghaied from Kara-Tur: Oriental adventures — martial arts and all. If there is a Forgotten Realms book for 3.5 you might consider snatching it up. The first Oriental Adventures product was the AD&D Oriental Adventures hardcover. They could do the same thing with a middle-eastern theme. Not a good year in my opinion, although many products made their debut, among them Oriental Adventures and Unearthed Arcana, two flawed "classics." I call them classics It's also the dawn of the Pre-Fab Campaign Age, with the release of not just the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (which is better than its reputation among old schoolers would suggest), but also Kara-Tur and the GAZ line for D&D (which is more of a mixed bag in my opinion). Decidely set on not getting OA. Became part of the Forgotten Realms, with the publication of the Kara-Tur boxed set. Menzoberranzan: Boxed Set (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, 2nd Edition).
